Dimpy
Behaviour Practitioner
Dimpy is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with experience in Positive Behaviour Support, over two years of counselling and mental health experience, and more than one year as a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Assistant. She has supported individuals with diverse and complex needs, focusing on improving independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Sociology, and a Master of Rehabilitation Counselling and Mental Health from La Trobe University. She is professionally registered with ACA and ASORC.
Dimpy is skilled in functional behaviour assessment, Behaviour Support Plan development, risk assessment, behaviour intervention, therapeutic communication, emotional regulation and stakeholder collaboration. Her practice is person-centred, strengths-based, trauma-informed and evidence-based, with a strong focus on building meaningful therapeutic relationships and supporting each participant’s individual goals.
